[PICS] Katy Perry Looks ‘Sad’ & Skinny At Coachella

Katy partied at the celeb filled music festival over the weekend and two sources tell us that Katy didn’t seem like her cheery self — do you think it’s because of her ex Russell Brand?

Katy Perry has been on a roll recently and it upsets us to think that she is having a tough time! HollywoodLife.com spoke to two eyewitnesses who were partying with the popstar at The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Annual Festival in Indo, Calif, over the weekend and they say she seemed “sad.”

“Katy posed for some pics with fans,” a source tells us. “But immediately after she went back to looking upset.”

Another eyewitnesses adds: “Something seemed up, she looked really depressed. Everyone kept saying how skinny she looked and how sad she seemed.”

Katy was spotted partying with her good pal Rihanna who seemed to be trying to get her into good spirits. While Rihanna was performing she reportedly jumped off of the stage to rush to Katy and hug her, interrupting her song.

Well her ex husband divorced her over Christmas break. That’s something that takes time to get over. I think she’s coping with it all very well. She looked gorgeous at Coachella!! Loved her outfit and the new hair really compliments her. She looks the same weight but you can see the sadness in her eyes. They don’t light up like they used to. Rihanna did a nice job if trying to cheer her up during her performance. She’ll be fine.

Maybe Katy just wishes she had a boyfriend for music festivals like these … especially if her friends brought guys with them. It’s awkward hanging out with other couples when you’re going solo.

Maybe Katy was just tired and a little hungover because she’d been drinking for 3 days in a row. It happens … especially at those big music festivals. If you drink some types of booze, they make you feel terrible the next day or two … nauseous and a bit depressed.

Maybe Katy should sip on Skyy vodka when she’s with her drinking buddies. Skyy supposedly has fewer impurities and it might be a little better for hangovers if you don’t drink too much too fast. Drinking booze without eating beforehand and drinking water isn’t good either. These skinny showbiz women don’t eat enough. That’s bound to make you feel run down and fatigued. Taking a multivitamin before drinking might help with hangovers too.

At least I haven’t heard that Katy is doing hard drugs. That would shock a lot of her fans and her preacher parents I’m sure. That would suck if a hot looking, talented girl like Katy went down that dark road of drugs. Lots and lots of musicians and Hollywood people have screwed up everything because of drugs.

Yeah, I think her and Brand used to do it all the time. In a number of appearances they looked high. And Extraterrestrial was definitely cocaine inspired, lol.
