The Twilight series may have millions of fans around the world, but Kate Beckinsale is not one of them. The actress recently revealed that her daughter Lily’s obsession with the series nearly ruined her holiday!
“She read Twilight and was completely obsessed with them. It actually almost ruined Christmas one year because all she wanted to do was be a vampire and she didn’t want anything on her Christmas list,” Kate said at a recent appearance.
But Kate DOES have one thing in common with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, since she played a vampire in the Underworld series, also a remarkably lucrative franchise. In fact, Kate once said she believed her character would destroy Edward Cullen in a fight!
Kate was of course joking, but now that there are two kick-ass female vampires — who is YOUR favorite femme fatale, HollywoodLifers?

Please, it Kate Beckinsale, KATE BECKINSALE, not some wanna be who got the role because her parents are directors. Haters can hate, but I’m not even a hater, I just love Kate. And what I hate is that today every actress is compared with Kristen. And c’ mon, Kate is so much more talented and beautiful that Kristen could ever be. Anyway this Twilight obsession…it’s only because of the movies, when they end so will their carers. And if that Robert Pattison is such a great actor he would show his acting ability in Harry Potter at the first point.
