Carly reveals how she got to know one of her manager’s lesser-known talents — and how much she admires him for it!

Carly Rae Jepsen told fans in an MTV Twitter chat that when she first met Justin Bieber, his songwriting skills blew her away!

She says it wasn’t until she first met Justin in the studio that she realized his talents go beyond singing, dancing and performing. She was pleasantly surprised to find out he’s a talented writer, too.

“[Justin's] extremely talented — and, I mean, obviously that’s pretty well-known — but in ways that I didn’t realize. … my first introduction to him was actually in his studio and he played me a couple songs he had written, and I was really impressed and I was so glad, because I really, really liked him.”
