Poor Khloe. She thought her baby dream was finally coming true, when she became pregnant after over a year of trying. But apparently she and Lamar got devastating news.
Khloe Kardashian, 27, wants more than anything to give Lamar Odom a child. She apparently came closer than ever – only to suffer a miscarriage in February that tore her apart her emotionally, reports InTouch magazine. “She’s trying to put on a brave face, but it’s so hard,” revealed a friend of Khloe’s to the magazine.
Khloe has tried numerous treatments to get pregnant including in vitro fertilization, vitamin B12 injections and even acupuncture.
“She heard about the acupuncture treatment from a friend in Dallas and is undergoing weekly sessions,” another pal told the magazine “She would do anything to have Lamar‘s baby, even if it means getting stuck with needles.”
And while Lamar was her rock to lean on in the past, he’s dealing with his own personal drama after his leaving the Dallas Mavericks on April 9. Khloe’s inability to have a baby is causing increased tension between the couple and they’re fighting a lot, said sources.
“She’s scared that if she doesn’t give Lamar a baby, then he’ll leave her,” a pal reveals.
Khloe sees how close Lamar is with his children Destiny, 14, and Lamar Jr., 11, from a previous relationship, and Khloe has the added pressure from watching her sister Kourtney pregnant with her second child. When Khloe got pregnant, she was so excited to share in the experience with her big sis.
“She thought it would be fun to go through it with her sister,” shares a friend.
Khloe has tried to keep a positive attitude about getting pregnant, though. She knows that when it’s right, it will happen.
“Lamar and I definitely want kids, and when it happens for us, it’ll happen,” Khloe told Cosmopolitan magazine in her May issue cover story
