The April 19 episode has a special treat in store for ‘Delena’ fans.
The ever-fluctuating scale of Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) heart has been tipping dramatically in Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) favor during the past few weeks on The Vampire Diaries — but fear not, “Delena” fans! A source confirms exclusively to HollywoodLife.com that Elena and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will share a “hot and heavy” scene on the show’s April 19 episode, “Heart of Darkness.” And unlike in the above photo, this one’s not a pain-induced dream.
I’m also told Damon and Elena’s encounter will make things even more tense between the Salvatore brothers, which certainly makes sense, considering executive producer Julie Plec has been teasing that the love triangle will come to a head by the end of the season.

Oh Julie, what have you done?? This show has become so predictable. ***Spoiler*** Elena chooses Damon in the finale! wow! I am so surprised! So very sad that the writers are letting some of the fans ruin an epic love story. I cannot believe that after everything Stefan has done for this girl, all will soon be forgotten. In the beginning Stefan wanted to “create a life with Elena.” Everything this poor guy has done has been for either Elena or Damon. I understand the writers feeling the need to explore the “Delena” story line a bit, but you can’t have the girl sleep with his brother and then find her way back to him if she truly loves him. Even with Stefan’s blessing, there is just no way; Stefan and Elena’s story is going to be ruined. Can’t wait to see the writers try and write their way out of this one; they messed this story up.
