HollywoodLife.com has exclusive details about Selena Gomez’s upcoming new project with Ethan Hawke!
Teen sensation Selena Gomez said in a video recently that her next project will be an action movie titled The Getaway with Ethan Hawke — and HollywoodLife.com has new info on the exciting thriller.
While no details about the film have been released other than the fact the production will shoot in Bulgaria, we have exclusively learned from a source that as of now there is no studio attached to the film and it’s a remake of the classic 1972 flick, which starred Steve McQueen and Ali MacGraw.
From what we know about the movie, Bieb’s main squeeze will be playing Fran — the young wife of a veterinarian who is seduced by a bank robber and then forced to go on the run with him. (At first we were freaking out that she might be Ethan’s love interest, which would just be bizarre! He’s twice her age.)
“It’s really, really exciting,” Selena said in a YouTube video to her fans.
We can’t wait to hear more about Selena’s first action movie! We’ll keep you posted as soon as we get more info.

There are MANY articles online about this movie, but not on most Movie Sites, like Yahoo! and imdb. Then again, some directors/studios/producers want to wait til they are certain when the movie will be finished (editing and such). Hopefully soon enough, because I think Selena is amazing and very serious about her acting and future. Please stop hating her-she doesnt deserve it!
