Khloe loves and supports Lamar as he struggles with his decision to leave the Dallas Mavericks. Good for her!
Khloe Kardashian knows her husband Lamar Odom is hurting right now, after he announced that he’s leaving the Dallas Mavericks. But she wants him to know that she loves him for all the strength he’s shown during this difficult time. “U deserve so much better. Know ur worth and know ur skills that have been proven and earned! U showed ur strength, I love u,” Khloe tweeted on April 9.
Lamar released a statement on April 9 saying he and the Dallas Mavericks came to a mutual agreement for him to “step away” from the team for the remainder of the season.
“I’m sorry that things didn’t work out better for both of us, but I wish the Mavs’ organization, my teammates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defense of their championship,” Lamar stated.
Lamar’s had a tough go of it since arriving in the Big D. His sudden split from the Los Angeles Lakers left Lamar depressed and he never quite found his footing with his new team.
“Lamar hasn’t gotten over being traded from the Lakers, and he has been depressed and moody ever since the trade happened. Lamar felt that he was ripped away from his Laker family with no warning or notice. He couldn’t fathom the fact that the Lakers traded him after all of his years with the team,” a source close to the couple told RadarOnline.com.
Khloe can’t stand to see Lamar suffer, and she’d do anything for him to feel better — including giving up their reality show Khloe & Lamar.
“Khloe has been extremely supportive of Lamar, but she is growing increasingly concerned for her husband because she has never seen him like this before,” the source said.
Lamar’s depressed state, combined with the possibility he may never play in the NBA again, has Khloe even more concerned for her husband’s well-being.
“Lamar is just lost right now, and Khloe is hoping once they move back to Los Angeles and he is back in familiar surroundings, he will get out of his funk. Lamar wants to keep playing basketball but it might be time for him to retire, which has Khloe even more concerned,” the insider told RadarOnline.com.
Being surround by family and friends in LA should help Lamar out of his funk, but we’re glad to see Khloe will love and support him no matter where the couple lands!
