Lamar Odom Announces He's Leaving The Dallas Mavericks

Oh no! Does this mean Khloe & Lamar will also have to leave Dallas for good?

More bad news for Lamar Odom and Khloé Kardashian! Lamar announced April 9 that he will “step away” from the Dallas Mavericks, officially ending his season with the NBA team. This couldn’t come at a worse time for the couple, as TMZ reports they were planning on shooting more footage for their E! reality series Khloe and Lamar.

In an official statement, Lamar said:

“I’m sorry that things didn’t work out better for both of us, but I wish the Mavs’ organization, my teammates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defense of their championship.”

It’s important to note that Lamar isn’t technically being “cut” from team, but will instead be categorized as “inactive” for the remainder of the season. This will allow him to be traded to another team when the current season is over, as opposed to dropping out of the NBA altogether.

But the real question is: How will this affect Lamar’s marriage to Khloe? On the April 8 episode of Khloé and Lamar, we saw that Lamar’s then-new position on the Mavericks was tacking a serious toll on their relationship. Khloé totally broke down during a phone conversation with concerned mom Kris Jenner.

“I feel like I’m trying, and it’s not going the way that I thought it was going to go,” Khloé said through her tears.

As far as comments made about Khloe and Lamar’s marriage, seems like everyone is counting down to the end of their marriage. Sad! However, in Hollywood people get married and divorced for business deals or stupid reasons. Whatever happened to being their through thick and thin, for better for worse? If their marriage is a real marriage, they would get through this. Only time will tell. I’m routing for them. I hope something is real about the Kardashians. Oh, and Scott, he has it made! Lol

If Khloe has to go it on her own – she will be just fine. She is the bread winner now and now we will see what Odom can do off the court. He really sucks at the reality TV. Oh, he is also a cry baby!

I knew this was coming but I didn’t think it was going to be so soon. Khloe is probably jumping up and down with joy, already quit her asinine radio job and packing for the move back to LA. lol

IMO she didn’t want to move away from her family in the first place but had to act happy and play the “I’ll follow Lammy anywhere” role for approval from the viewers. If she didn’t follow Lamar the public would have crucified her after Kim and her 72 days marriage fiasco.

Lamar need to separate his career from the snoozefest of their reality shows and stop appearing in any of them. His career comes first, if not, he is done. He will join Bruce and Scott as the puppet boys of the Kardashian women.

Compared to Kris Humphries, yes. I mean Kris Humphries has had to endure the public humiliation of his divorce, the constant booing from the public, and being scrutinized from all corners, but the fact that he overcame this to have the best season of his career is pretty admiring and respectful. Granted, he is not the greatest basketball player out there, but he put all the drama behind him and played basketball to only have his best season ever. I believe Lamar is acting like a child who didn’t get his way and has been pouting the entire time. And this is just speaking basketball; I am not taking any sides on the whole Kardashians-Humphries debacle.

Khloe should distant as far as possible as she can from her family. Because of Kris Jenner’s hungry for fame and money, she’s ruining two of her daughters lives. I can assure you that Kim’s whole wedding and marriage thing was planned by Kris Jenner, and due to that she screwed up Kim’s not so good rep to an even worse one. And now I’m sure Mark Cuban was getting ridiculous demands from KJ and she told Lamar to leave. Kris Jenner is the living devil.
