If, like us, you can’t wait to see Kristen Stewart play Snow White in Snow White & the Huntsman, than you’ll love this behind-the-scenes sneak peek at the intricate detailing of the costumes. Costume designer Colleen Atwood opened up about the inspiration for K-Stew’s look for her fight scene. “There are a lot of messages in her armor. The concept is [Snow White] comes to a place in the story and decides to go to battle and lead her future people,” she said.

“She doesn’t have time to have armor made, so we took elements of different armor to compile a look and so [Stewart] could also do action in it,” Colleen tells MTV News. Watch the video to see what else she had to say about the detailing of the costumes!
