Kate Middleton & Prince William Put Off Having A Baby

Fri, April 6, 2012 10:52am EDT by 14 Comments

Poor Kate Middleton! All the pregnancy rumors are getting her down — it’s so personal — according to a new report.

Kate Middleton has been on baby bump watch as soon as the Royal Wedding ended on April 29, 2011, and a source tells US Weekly the 30-year-old is uncomfortable with pregnancy rumors that circulate constantly. “Seeing stories that talk about her health is really hurtful. It’s difficult to just ignore them,” the source says.

Prince William, 29, and Kate want to enjoy themselves and are in no hurry to get pregnant. “They have only been married for one year, and they are not rushing to have a baby.” Kate understands — being in the public eye — the interest people have in her new royal life, but “certain [outlets] push things too far.”

Adding: “Both William and Kate want their first child to happen naturally and at the right time.”

Issues regarding pregnancy are personal and should be respected.

Best of Luck, Kate and William!

thanks connie :)

nothing is wrong with waiting to have a baby. next year a royal baby can realistically be expected.

in this day and age, its more conjucive for many women to have children in their early 30s as opposed to early 20s.

its so much more important to enjoy life first THEN have children

firtility problems dont tend to start until 35 for women,(for which the royals are more then aware of may i ADD) so kate has a good 5 years in which to have her children.

thats plenty of time

I agree with kate and prince william. Why rush having a baby so quick? you could wait for a few years after you et maried. Good choice kate and william.

as this is the year of the queen’s jubilee, and the olympics they will probably wait until next year to start trying realistically for which kate will be 31, in this day and age women tend to have kids later as opposed to earlier.
nothing wrong with that.
as long as they become parents before 35, they still have a good few years before thinking about that.
in the meantime i think they should enjoy married life and the pleasures of just each other first before rushing into children.

i wish people would just leave them alone… kate and william cant become parents just because OTHER people want them to.
for goodness sake, they have only been married a year.
the media pressure is what ruined diana’s life… i hope kate doesnt let it ruin hers!
the royal family and their ‘aides’ are more then aware of kate’s age and physical wellbeing.
William would not marry someone who was infertile… open your eyes people and read in between the lines.
as long as kate has a baby in the next couple of years THERE IS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.

bold move on her part. she is breaking a hundred year tradition by not becoming pregnant with in the first year of marriage. more power to them i guess.

HOW F-ing long can she wait??? They have been together over NINE years! And she is over 30 now. What the hell are you waiting for? Just say it, you can’t get pregnant because you don’t have enough fat for life support of a baby OR you just dont want freaking kids.

Maybe they don’t want a child right now. Did you think about that? You must be AMERICAN which explains your ignorance.

Wow, calm down. She’s just pointing out that Kate will be having this child when she’s older than 30 years old which makes the pregnancy more risky. This is a fact.

Some people (such as myself) believe in time as a married couple before having kids, nothing wrong with that. She still has time before things get risky ( speaking as a professional cytogeneticist who does prenatal genetic testing for risks involved with such things). I couldn’t imagine the pressure, judgement, and ridicule she is getting for what goes on in their personal life.
