Kim Kardashian usually likes being the center of attention, but after a recent attack on the red carpet, the reality starlet fears for her safety because ‘next time it could be acid.’
Kim Kardashian is used to be a target for her fashion choices, her failed relationships, and her enviable curves, but she won’t let herself become a target for violence. While doing an interview on the red carpet before an event at The London West Hollywood on March 22, Kim was pelted with flour by a woman pretending to be a fan. “It was crazy,” an eyewitness tells Reality Weekly. “The woman who assaulted Kim was standing by the carpet for an hour, just silently and stealthily waiting.”
Kim’s security immediately stepped into action and whisked her off to safety, but the 31-year-old was badly shaken up. And it seems she still is. “She’s worried that no amount of security can keep her safe,” reveals an insider. “Kim has a lot of fans, but she also has a lot of haters out there too.”
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time the brunette beauty has attacked. In October 2010, a woman in a nightclub thew a drink in Kim’s face and called her a whore after Kim got too close to her boyfriend. A stalker also showed up to Kim’s LA home with luggage last January, which required police involvement.
Despite her previous scares, friends claim that Kim has never taken security that seriously. “This whole incident has opened her eyes to just how vulnerable she is,” the insider said. “Her bodyguard reminded her that next time someone could come after Kim with something worse than flour, like acid.”
