Khloe tells ‘Cosmopolitan’ she hasn’t given up on having a baby — and she’s sick and tired of people putting pressure on her to get pregnant!
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, who wed just shy of two months after meeting in 2009, have made no secret of their desire to have a baby. In fact, the couple have openly documented their struggle to conceive on their E! reality show, Khloe & Lamar. But now, the always-candid Khloe is telling her fans it will happen when it’s meant to happen.
“People make me feel like I have a problem because I haven’t had a kid yet,” she tells the mag. “The other day, this nice woman gave me a baby present, and said, ‘This is for your future little Lamar.’ It’s sweet, but I’m like, ‘I don’t have a baby!’”
Realizing the pressure to conceive wasn’t helping matters, Khloe, 27, has adopted a new, more laid-back attitude towards getting pregnant, explaining she and Lamar are taking things one day at a time. The youngest Kardashian sister also shoots down rumours she’s had fertility treatments.
“We were thinking we had to know when I was ovulating,” she says. “But seriously? That took the fun out of everything.”
“Lamar and I definitely want kids, and when it happens for us, it’ll happen,” she adds.
Khloe has done an amazing job at handling all the pressure, and we hope she gets some good news soon. Stay positive, Khloe!
