A source tells HollywoodLife.com that Jennie had every intention of having Peter star alongside her on her upcoming reality show and work out her marriage — do you feel sorry for Jennie?

Jennie Garth feels completely blindsided by her divorce! HollywoodLife.com can exclusively tell you that although Jennie, 40, is doing her best to put on a brave face, she’s “broken hearted.”

“Jennie never thought she and Peter would divorce,” a source tells us. “She can’t believe he actually filed papers. She feels like a fool because she thought they would work things out. She never intended to shoot her [reality] show without him.”

Jennie’s upcoming CMT reality show Little Bit Country will follow her as she raises her three daughters Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5 — settle into their new digs on a seven-acre countryside farm in central California,

Peter left her due to the fact that he is gay…..My buddy is gay and from West Hollywood…he told me years ago that Jennie’s hubby was bisexual…..I guess now he has a preference for dick…..Jenny you are a hot mama ..drop that

Didn’t he cheat on her? I think the Twilight series fame went to his head. His career is more important than his family obviously.

Good Lord is she ever going to shut up? She’s the only one that’s been running to any media outlet that will give her the time of day and running her mouth. You haven’t seen him say a word about her. All she’s doing is trying to drum up publicity for her ridiculous “reality” show where she’s going to parade her children around on national TV. So much for “respecting her privacy in this difficult time.” I feel bad for him.

Is it just me that thinks Jennie is playing on this a bit too much now and trying too hard to make Peter look bad? This isn’t fair on him in my opinion, he can’t have been that bad, surely??

He has never spoken out and said anything about her. He hasn’t said a word about the divorce at all. She’s the one running to anyone who will listen with her poor me story. He left her. She wanted him to stay. Obviously he mustve been a good husband. And if he left her, she wasn’t a good wife. So tired of hearing here drum on about it. Ive been divorced twice. Life moves on Jennie. Stop trying to use your ex husband to promote your show!

FROM WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE TO ME PETER IS VERY SAD ABOUT THE DIVORCE….HE IS A TRUE GENTLEMAN WHO SEEMS TO REALLY CARE ABOUT HIS FAMILY SO HE DOES NOT AIR FAMILY PERSONAL MATTERS ALL OVER THE NEWS TO PROMOTE A NEW REALITY SHOW….LIKE JENNIE HAS DONE>…IT IS SO OBVIOUS……..SAD THAT SHE HAS HAD TO DO THIS TO GET RATINGS FOR HER NEW SHOW THIS IS SO OBVIOUS…..YOU NEVER HEAR FROM HER EXCEPT WHEN SHE IS PROMOTING SOMETHING FOR HER SELF….LOOKS LIKE SHE IS LEVERAGING THE OPPORTUNITY..AND EXPOSING HER FAMILY TO ALL THIS….

He is completely out of line. He speaks very negative of her so if anything, she should have been filing for a divorce before he did. I think her interview was sincere. However, his rebuttal to the argument was ridiculous.

I never read that he spoke negative about her. And who are we that we are allowed to judge over him ?? We do not know what happened in this relationship and who is guilty and who is not.

Guess it must of been a dream then when I seem him the other day on the today show talking about the divorce…

And just to let everyone know he did talk about the divorce on the show and he was joking around about it so doesn’t seem to me that she should get all the blame….

What negative things has he said about her. The first time he’s said anything was on kellys show a few days ago, and none of it was negative.

And, he shouldn’t say anything negative about Jennie, that’s because there isn’t anything negative to say. And, also Jennie isn’t saying anything negative about Peter. She’s just talking about her divorce and how she still cares about Peter, and she has the right to. You would to if you were hurt the way Jennie has been. If you were so in love, and your husband divorced you for reasons unknown, then you would be talking about it. It’s good therapy to do so.
