Bloggers beware! Bethenny isn’t putting up with any nonsense — she’s ready to defend herself against harmful accusations.
On the April 2 episode of Bethenny Ever After, Bethenny Frankel has to deal with the aftermath of her Forbes magazine cover story when bloggers report that she lied about how much money she made from the sale of her Skinnygirl line of alcoholic beverages in her featured article. Bethenny decides to take the high rode and ignore the haters, but she knows that she has to stand up for herself and for the integrity of her brand.
In the end, Bethenny tries to set the record straight with Matt Lauer by explaining her side of the story and encourages her fans not to believe everything they read. ”I’m not typically a ‘no comment’ type of girl,” Bethenny tells Jason. Good for her for standing up for what she knows is right! Forbes then defended their article and the bloggers that were attacking Bethenny backed off.
Then it’s time for Bethenny to appear on Ellen DeGeneres‘s talk show (something she has done in the past) and she admits that Ellen is a huge role model that she looks up to more than any other television personalities. Ellen messes with Bethenny a bit backstage, telling her that she should speak properly to Bryn or else she is simply just teaching her “baby talk.” Bethenny takes the friendly jokes in stride, calling Ellen a “ball buster.”
Together they end the episode by clearing up a few more rumors that are out in the media. It must be so stressful for Bethenny to constantly have to clear her name!

I hate to say this because I like both Bethenny and Jason but I think alcohol could be part of the problem. People can get that mean side when they drink and as a viewer, I can see there is a lot of drinking going on which can change people and bring out a side of themselves that is a bit out of control. My Mother’s advice to me always was be careful what you say, you can’t take words back. They both are guilty here. There are words that should never be spoken because they just can’t be forgiven. I am so sorry for both of them and for that little girl, Bryn and for the Grandparents. But I do believe that Bethenny would not be as successful as she is today if it weren’t Bravo and Jason. Skinny started with the car when Jason was introduced on Housewifes. They should split everything evenly on all that happened and that what the courts should do and then everything she makes from here on she should keep to herself. He was integral to the success of Skinny Girl. He spent half of the time on camera , she would not have had the same popular show without the pregnancy and marriage that is what created her popularity , is you can have it all if you say “yes” . She did have it all and they are both throwing it away. That is what is wrong with this country people jump ship too fast. Maybe if Jason had gone into therapy of his own they could have worked it out at least Bethenny was working on herself in therapy and was willing to take some of the steps, but without Jason participating even Bethenny’s therapist only saw one side of their issues. My husband and I went into therapy first me for a long time then I finally got him to go and he went to four sessions and we learned some skills on how to communicate in a healthier way. Stop pointing fingers and blaming one another and instead saying when you say this you make me feel like this and it really helped us. We have been together 25 years, but no one else would put up with either of us, we fight, we laugh, we love and we are friends. And our 12 year old son has Mom and Dad in the same house.
