Taylor appeared on ‘Access Hollywood’ on April 2 and said that her daughter isn’t too young to comprehend that she was brutally beaten by her late husband Russell Armstrong.
Taylor Armstrong is doing her best to remain upbeat but The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star admits it can be difficult. The reality star says that although she wants her daughter Kennedy, 5, to have good memories of her father Russell Armstrong who killed himself on Aug. 15 , she can’t make her daughter forget her mother’s brutal beatings.
“Why would you miss a boy who beat you all the time?” Kennedy asked her Taylor one day. Taylor says it was in this moment that she realized that children know exactly what’s going on around them, even if you try and shield them.
Taylor has since written a memoir about her abuse and marriage to Russell called Hiding From Reality: My Story of Love, Loss, and Finding the Courage Within.

Taylor needs to stop talking publicly especially about personal, private conversations with her daughter. I cringe everytime I hear her talk. She’s not helping women she’s hurting her daughter. She needs to take a year and spent it privately with her daughter. It’s abusive to Kennedy to have her mother constantly talking about events that are sooo recent. My God it hasn’t even been a year!! Bravo needs to get rid of her. Her story gets worse not better.
