Robert Pattinson’s ‘Cosmopolis’ director, David Cronenberg, says R-Patz couldn’t believe how easily decisions were made on the indie set after coming from the ‘Twilight’ franchise!

Playing Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga was no easy feat for Robert Pattinson — especially when it came to the smallest details, which had to be approved through many people in order to be cleared. It’s no wonder Rob was amazed at how quickly things moved on the set of his upcoming independent film, Cosmopolis!

“[Rob] was saying that because he’s done these Twilight movies, he was sort of astonished that I could just make a decision right there on the [Cosmopolis] set and that was it,” director David Cronenberg told Interview magazine. “But for me, that’s business as usual, of course.”

We’re looking forward to seeing Rob stretch his acting abilities in the edgy indie film, which will premiere soon at Cannes Film Festival in France and will be released later this year in the U.S. Everything we hear about the project sounds amazing!
