Technology lover Ashton Kutcher has landed the role of a lifetime! The (usually) comedic actor will play Steve Jobs in the upcoming indie film, Jobs.
While Ashton Kutcher is best known for playing comedic roles, the Two and a Half Men actor is set to star in an upcoming independent biopic about the late technology pioneer, Steve Jobs. The film, entitled Jobs, is scheduled to start shooting in May, and will follow Steve’s rise from Northern California hippie to computer innovator.
While the casting choice may seem odd, there’s no arguing that Ashton bears a striking resemblance to the Apple founder that died in October. What’s more, the Punk’d star is known for his love of technology, specifically, Apple products. “Ashton even has the apple logo on the back of his SUV,” a source exclusively tells HollywoodLife.com.
A second movie about Steve’s life, based on Walter Isaacson‘s best-selling biography, is also in the works, but Ashton’s is set to be released first.
Do YOU think casting Ashton was a good choice?

this is a travesty. the world’s dumbest actor/person to play jobs? is it just b/c their hair is similar? i find this incredibly enraging and insulting to jobs’ memory.
