'American Idol' Reject Heejun Han: Jennifer Lopez Tried To Save Me

Plus, Heejun has some harsh words for Randy Jackson & Steven Tyler!

Are you bummed that Heejun Han was eliminated from American Idol on March 29? So is Jennifer Lopez! “She told me she was trying to save me, but [Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson] didn’t listen to her,” Heejun told HollywoodLife.com and other reporters shortly after being booted from the competition. “It was kind of sad, but Jennifer had a really really good perfume. She smelled so wonderful.”

And even though Heejun is a good sport about being eliminated, he had a few choice words for the two judges who scorned him.

“They have their own perspective toward performance, and I didn’t satisfy them,” he said. “Steven is a guy who’s nearly 60 years old, trying to tell me I’m not taking the competition seriously, and Randy is a guy with four kids. Jennifer is a hot woman, who has been saying I’m the best singer in the world, so I’ll take Jennifer as my favorite judge.”

HeeJun is being an arrogant loser. Harsh words for Randy and Steven Tyler. Really Heejun? Of course he will favor Jennifer lopez. She is a fraud just like him! The 2 judges spoke the truth about him and he can’t accept it. Get over it! I’m so glad Heejun is off the show. Most annoying contestant this season.

Your headline is very misleading. What exactly did Heejun say that was harsh? Nothing stated in the 3 paragraphs above is in anyway harsh. There aren’t even any “choice words.” Unless you think that stating Steven’s age correctly or telling how many kids Randy has qualifies.

nah. he’s the least talented of the group. i’d rather see him leave than any of the top 9.

Hee Jun was in the competition longer than he should have been. The last two performers who were eliminated were much better singers than Hee Jun. I enjoyed his presence but he did not have the musical abilities that the others had. I don’t think he should have been in the top 10…even though he was very entertaining. I’m with Randy…he would be great acting in a sitcom.

Heejun did not deserve to go. He has one of the best vocals in the competition. His absence in AI will be the show’s loss. Not only does his voice have good quality and texture, he exudes with a personality that is over the top. I really thought his rendition of “My Life” was awesome and I can’t understand why some judges thought that he was being disrespectful to the show. From the start,it was obvious that Jimmy showed his dislike on Heejun being in the top 13. Thus, the reason for all his harsh comments on Heejun.Well,Heejun has left his mark in AI as well as in the hearts of many.

Actually it was Steven Tyler who was so harsh on Heejun. None of the judges really gave any constructive criticisms to help him improve his singing skill. With vocal training and live stage practices, Heejun would be as good as any other contestants, because he does have a very nice tone, a buttery voice! So pathetic that people are taking themself too seriously and can’t accept that someone can be funny and serious in their art. It take natural talent to be able to make people entertained and laught.

i would’ve liked to see what heejun had for a couple of more weeks. i think he was still getting better and i think it would’ve really helped his growth to have two more weeks of having to “bring it”. however, he does have a whole tour to do, so he’s got all of that experience yet to come. i think his comments re the judges were likely not as disrespectful as they appear typed up. i think he was just saying that of course he’s going to like the hot girl that was rooting for him the best. i think steven was a little too hard on him— they guy had one performance where he was trying to be fun. every other performance was serious. yet somehow he was villanized for it. it was disproportionate and unfair. that said, he’s not the best singer up there, a ton of them are phenoms, so i don’t feel bitter about his departure. i still would’ve liked to see more of him to see how he would be transforming before our eyes.
