K-Stew admits in a new interview that Rob has been talking with producers about the erotic film — we called it first!
HollywoodLife.com first suggested that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson should be cast as the leads in the sexy adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey — and now it seems our dreams could become a reality!
K-Stew, 21, spoke to Entertainment Weekly about the spicy book, and said that R-Patz, 25, has been talking about the big screen treatment of the Twilight fan fiction!
“It’s so funny — I heard about it yesterday,” she said. “Rob and Wyck (Godrey), our producer, were talking about it! I’ve heard its quite sexy — very titillating.”
Also, when asked if she would read it, K-Stew responded, “Hell, yeah!”

I’m agreeing! I’ve read the complete series of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ and I really don’t hope either of them gets the part… The are some amazing actors, but in this movie, the don’t match the characters. It’s an amazing book and if the gets to play the parts as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey I’m gonna cry!

They should look at it, at least, screen test. I don’t see how 50 Shades is like Twilight. How?? Forbidden love, secrecy and lots of angst over lust. I’ve read it several times as MOTU and 50. It’s a great Hot story that needs to bring women’s sexual hunger out from hiding. It’s always the males sex drive. The fanfiction controversy: the names, characters are simply actors so you have an image to attach the story to. It makes for easier imagery while reading in whatever you’re reading. They would be great together but even one would be super. Just need SMOLDERING HOT & VIRGINAL SWEETNESS.

I think KStew would be a BIG hit in a movie. But for heaven’s sake! Get a different actor for the male part. After all they have done together as sweet lovers, it just will not fly having him as a “rapist” with Kristen. No! get an OLDER AND less attractive MAN TO PLAY THAT PART.

It worries me is that there are “fans” out there that are more interested in seeing Rob and Kris in intimate moments instead of two actors playing fictional characters.

We have to believe this is a complete fabrication because it is something that everyone that read it as a fan fiction would LOVE to see happen. I can’t imagine anyone else in the role, but this is WAY to much to be hoped for!

Hell Yea!! Rob and Kris were made for this role. In fact, the role was made for them. They really would be perfect. I must admit that when I first read the Fifty Shades trilogy I had no idea that it was a fanfic from Twilight, but as I read the story of Anna and Christian all I could think of was Bella and Edward or Rob and Kris. I just could not get enough. It is downloaded on my Kindle and IPhone. I have read the books now 3 times and I would love to see Rob and Kris play these roles. I have read articles saying that it would ruin there careers. I totally disagree. The only other person that I would except to play Christian would be Ryan Gosling, but I really want to see Rob as Christian and I would like to see a NC17 for this movie. If they are going to do this movie I hope that they do it right. I can not wait!!!

I just ordered the books and can’t wait to read them.Here’s the thing….because the buzz has already been put out there about these two being great for the movie,etc. that is who I already have in my mind as the characters in the book.So, when I start reading I will picture those two. For me, it would be hard to then see anyone else portraying these characters in the movies. Twilight fan and fan of both actors :)

You might want to rethink that. I’ve read all three books in this trilogy and they are great reads. For this to be the authors first book ever she hit it right out the park. I can’t wait to read what she writes next.

you should read her other stories. go to fanfiction.net and do a search of “M” stories for bdsm and you’ll find a ton more.
oh wait… nevermind it’s just the other 50x stories that are exactly the same as this one.
by the way…. this isn’t her first work. her first story on ff was about edward being a british musician who hooked up with bella and got her pregnant. she wrote master of the universe (cough i mean 50 shades) after.

I think the movie would be a lot more believable if both were in it. They have great chemistry together and both are great actors…. Rob and Kristen have a large fan base of older adults that will see this movie.

This is completely misleading. HL first suggested it be Rob and Kristen? Ummm the characters have ALWAYS been fashioned on Rob & Kristen.
And the implication that they’ve been in talks about the proposed film in misleading.
I used to want them to do it but now I think it would be a huge mistake. Essentially MOTU/50 has exaggerated and exploited the themes of Twilight. They should completely stay way, they would never earn credibility for it. Where’s Efron?

I think they should give them a very extensive screenplay and test,to see if they have the different chemistry then they did on twilight,and please don’t ever compare them to Ben and Jen again..They are so much better then they were back then…At least give them a try on 50 shades. Peace Karen E.

I think it should be one or the other definitely NOT both. They don’t want to come off to the Hollywood machine as a duo that has to work together (hence Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck in Gigli which bombed). I think perhaps Rob so that he can have a strong, manly, sexy role. In TTS, Edward was sexy but it was subtle but who knows.

It would be interesting IF (& that is a BIG IF, also, it’s pretty obvious wouldn’t go near that project bc of twilight) but they did consider to be in these films (thats if directors/whoever want them or just 1) And Im sure other actors/actresses can play these roles good, but Rob and kristens chemistry drew in people to twilight too, so for this movie they need this type of chemistry.But there are other ppl who can take these roles and kill it w chemistry too, so who know…

I read the fanfiction a long time ago and I really don’t want to see them in this movie. I love them both in twilight and in their other movis, but I don’t think they can protray the characters as they should be
