Minka’s bronze makeup and beige outfit would seem fairly uneventful if it weren’t for the gorgeous pop of color on her nails.

Minka Kelly proves that sometimes nails can be the best accessory! She is wearing Essie Geranium, according to InStyle, to an event in Beverly Hills on March 27. “I thought it was a fun, fresh color to put with the gold accents in my dress,” Minka tells InStyle. “If it were winter, I’d go for a more burgundy color, but I thought this was perfect for spring.”

The orangey-red shade is bright and vibrant. Minka is right to say that it is the perfect shade for spring!
