Miley Cyrus is reportedly working on a new movie about ‘a young woman’s broken promise to God.’ Are you surprised she’s doing a faith-driven movie after her controversial anti-religious tweets?
Miley Cyrus and her family have always been proud of their Christianity and are now working on a script for a movie with Paramount about “a young woman’s broken promise to God,” in which the 19-year-old starlet will star and produce, reports MileyCyrus.bz.
“There was a meeting for the film three weeks ago, a table reading two weeks ago and they’ve been working on the scripts for the film since the March 18, 2012,” the story says, adding that the film is currently called “Miley Cyrus 2013 Project” and will also be produced by Miley’s mom, Tish.
Many of Miley’s fans thought she had departed from her faith, since she recently supported an evolutionary philosopher on Twitter.
“Beautiful,” Miley tweeted with a photo of a theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss.
On the photo is one of his quotes reading, “You are all stardust. You couldn’t be here if stars hadn’t exploded, because the elements (carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, all the things that matter for evolution) weren’t created at the beginning of time. They were created in stars. So forget Jesus. Stars died so you can live.”
Apparently, she’s not forgetting Jesus after all. Are you excited to learn more about this new project?
