Will Ferrell, dressed as his Anchorman alter ego Ron Burgundy, paid a visit to Conan on March 28 to announce some breaking news — and no, it wasn’t “cannonball.” Ron, and the entire Channel 4 News Team, will return to theaters for an Anchorman sequel!
“I want to announce this to everyone here in the Americas, to our friends in Spain, Turkey and the UK — including England — that as of 09:00 mountain time, Paramount Pictures and myself, Ronald Joseph Burgundy, have come to terms on a sequel to Anchorman,” he announced. ”It is official, there will be a sequel to Anchorman!”
