Thigh-high boots work best over jeans or leggings — and if you’re going to work them with shorts or a skirt, it’s important that you pair them with a conservative, tucked-in top. Instead, RiRi stole the spotlight pairing her Louboutin boots with a Maison Martin Margiela flame print t-shirt and a leather biker jacket. While she has denim cutoffs on underneath the t-shirt, they really don’t serve much of a purpose considering that they’re barely visible.
While sometimes Rihanna leaves me in awe of her fashion choices, this isn’t one of them. While the look is totally consistent with her edgy style, I think we’ve definitely seen her look better. Perhaps she thought she looked great when she left the house — or maybe she’s trying to act out to get the attention of her ex, Chris Brown. I don’t know what the motive behind her look was, but I am not a fan of stars who step out sans pants.
Do you agree?
