Even though Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson‘s relationship got off to a rocky start, the newly engaged couple are more connected than ever than ever thanks to an impromptu romantic getaway in Mexico.

In a last ditch effort to save their relationship, Ben and Courtney headed to the Hacienda San Angel resort in Puerto Vallarta on March 22 to try and revive the spark that had fizzled away since episodes of The Bachelor began airing.

Maybe it was the sunshine, the tropical setting — or just being out of the public eye — but somehow, Ben and Courtney found a way to reconnect. “They were very affectionate during their stay,” a hotel insider exclusively tells HollywoodLife.com. “They seemed romantic and relaxed. They really seemed to enjoy the tranquility of their surroundings and anonymity of not being recognized in Puerto Vallarta.”

After a leisurely walk on the beach during sunset, “Ben and Courtney enjoyed a romantic dinner on their private terrace and were serenaded by a mariachi band,” the insider reveals. “They got couples massages in their presidential suite and shared gazpacho, tacos trios and chocolate cake at the trendy hotel restaurant, Hacienda San Angel Gourmet.”

Despite earlier reports that Courtney is pregnant, the insider reveals that the couple drank Pacificos and margaritas while they got cozy by the pool. “One night they stayed in and rented movies and relaxed in the private jacuzzi on their terrace.”

It is so obvious to me from this uniformly “grainy” photo that this is continuing footage from the Bachelor Franchise. With our iphones etc. who takes grainy photos like that anymore? In Mexico, of 2 people whom are presumably anonymous? In other pics you see them in an obvious up close pose. You put your hand there and her leg there and then go in for the nose kiss. Check out the pic of their room. Look a little like a fantasy suite? These 2 are still on the Bachelor payroll. This is about nothing but money for all of them. Romantic viewers, I say weep and move on! This show does nothing but make a mockery of love.

They deserve each other – and that’s not hating, it’s the facts of how these 2 carried themselves. There is a name for a woman who doesn’t mind getting naked and uses her body to get what she wants out of a guy. That name is nothing to be proud of. As for Ben, that may be the name on his birth certificate, but the rest of the world shoudl be calling him “john” – and the “j” is lower case on purposes. We found out things about Ben that are anything but good. He thinks with his “winkie” and not with what is supposed to be between his ears. If he can watch the episodes of his show and still want a woman who carried on the way Courtney did, then he deserves whatever she does to him – and before it’s all over with, she is going to do plenty.
