Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Should Be Cast In 'Fifty Shades Of Grey'

50 Shades Of Grey

Since the adult erotic novel began as a ‘Twilight’ fan fiction, it makes sense for Rob and Kristen to star in the film version of the book!

Fifty Shades Of Grey — the popular mommy porn that has hit Amazon’s best-seller list — is being turned into a movie. Deadline.com reports that Universal and Focus Features acquired the rights to the novel for a cool $5 million. Now that we know it will hit the big screen, it’s time to turn our attention to casting the big roles — and of course we think that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart would be perfect!

Fifty Shades is the story of billionaire Christian Grey and recent college grad Anastasia Steele who fall in love despite Christian wanting Ana to be his “submissive” in a Bondage-Discipline/Dominant-Submissive/Sado-Masochistic relationship.

However, the erotic novel originally began as an adult, alternate universe Twilight fan fiction, with Edward as the billionaire and Bella as the virginal Anastasia. But the names were changed when it was published. And although Fifty Shades is devoid of vampires and werewolves, fans of both will recognize the similarities between the two stories — including Christian’s adopted family and Anastasia’s best male friend Jose.

Since Robert doesn’t have any work lined up yet, and everyone is dying to see more steamy sex scenes between him and K-Stew, these two should definitely think about these roles.

Would you like to see Rob and Kristen in Fifty Shades, HollywoodLifers?

is that not the sweetest part of it ,the steamier the better.at least we get to see what we missed in twilight sex scene which is actually poor and too low key.

I didn’t see much chemistry between them in the Twilight movies, so I don’t think they’ll be able to do justice to a movie that is solely based on their sexual chemistry

i think that i would love to see them do this movie but maybe with different parts because if they both do a movie with the same story plot as twilight and also with similar characters; people will not be able to see their range of acting skills.
still; team ROBSTEN foreves

if you followed the progression of the book while it was being written as a fan fiction then you would see that everything about the main character is Rob his movements his smile ..their would not one other actor that could fill the bill …but would he take that leap …Bel Ami is racy but this is sexy off the chart ….but it is so well written ..with twists and turns and sub plots ….and its a trilogy …E L James …is amazing …if she wants Rob …I hope she has the big guns at Universal real him in

no, they shouldn’t be cast, it’s a stupid idea. They’re amazing actors don’t get me wrong, but they didn’t even feel comfortable doing twilight sex scenes together, and that’s only pg13. So how the hell do you think they’d cope with adult erotic stuff?? This is sooo not going to happen. If you want actors who’d be comfortable try Kellan Lutz and Nina Dobrev, they did well enough having sex in ‘Arena’ and didn’t seem uncomfortable at all

As IF either one of them would consider it.

Especially for Robert, who needs to distance himself WAY away from Twilight to be taken seriously as an actor.

Fortunately for Rob, the critical buzz on Cosmopolos is excellent.

I have read all the fanfiction of Fifty when it was on different blogs devoted to Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. I have read the book Fifty Shades of Grey and guess what, it is the same fanfiction about Edward and Bella only the names are changed. Yes, they would be perfect in the movie since they probably have read some of the fanfiction themselves when checking out some of the blogs devoted to them.

If Robert and Kristen touched this project it would be ruined by their psycho fans. The only thing they want is to see what the Twilight Saga hasn’t delivered them: their beloved ‘couple’ having explicit sex in front of the cameras, which is totally sick.
I think the movie can be done if it falls in the right hands, which happened to be Universal and Focus Features. If it happens to be a little like Nine 1/2 Weeks, I’ll be more than glad. It has lots of sex, yes, but they are not the essence of the story. The story is about healing a damaged man with love and understanding.
Kristen Stewart could never deliver such character eventhough Anastacia’s character was at first inspired by Bella. After seeing Bel Ami I am sure that Robert Pattinson could be Fifty Shades, but I’d rather no.
I’m dying to see who is going to be cast and I’m sure it’s going to be a great film.
Haters gone hate and “protect” their “queen” Stephenie Meyer. You better go support her other film The Host instead of hating on somebody else’s work.

You really should learn the difference between “devoted” and “psycho.” It just get tiresome- especially for an older fan like myself (56) – to have to continually explain that Kristen played the character of Bella as she was written. She wasn’t weak – in fact, was the heroine who saved the entire extended “family” at the what is, for the moment, the end of the story. Kristent couldn’t play a “healing” character? You have over-dosed on dumb-down pills – Bella IS a healing character and Kristen was dead-on perfect as she was in Snow White – also a “healing” character. For the greater part of Twilight Bella was in her human form and could be portrayed as equal to the vampire entities in terms of strength, etc. But the love story was absolutely perfectly and Kristen was dead-on perfect for the role. And Rob as Edward would so as equally well for the male lead. While I can see them possibley wanting to do something different from Twilight, especially if Lions Gate and Stephenie Meyer come together on a continuation of the storye of Twilight, I hope Rob and Kristen are cast. Rob has earned the respect of reputatble co-workesr (Reese Witherspoon, etc.) and Kristen has the admiration and best wishes of some Hollywood heavyweights heself (Jodie Foster, etc.). And I’m not a hater – a word over-used by those who can’t think of anything else – I’m just not an idiot and I know a good story – Twilight – when I read/see one.

I just don’t understand people, this is just a movie and characters and it should stay in the fantasy world, I am overwhelmed by a good movie being too good and than destroyed by re-playing it on youtube in millions of clips via the fans and so forth…over and over i have to face this madness, the movie is over just like harry Potter..let it rest and talk about whats to come…blah blah blah so sick of it all, I watch a movie and thats it..i dont lavish and druel over them..God fans are very obcessive no wonder the acters have to have a body guard..Gosh shut up with it all ok. let the movie be a movie and be good without you all trashing it with trash talk.

Hey Little mo,I too am 56 today as a matter of fact. Every thing you said about Kristen acting as Bella and Rob acting Edward,I wish everyone could see The Twi Saga as you do.I’ve always seen Bella as A strong Bella, just like you said that Bella had strength as human, just as Edward had strength as A vampire.I’m guilty of calling people haters, but after reading your post LittleMo,you opened my eyes to a lot of things .I love The Twi Saga, and Stephanie Meyer’s the Host was very good as well,if you haven’t read do so you won’t be sorry.Thank you for seeing Bella and Edward in A different light…Peace..Karen E.

I disagree. I think Kristen & Rob should steer clear of this project. I read the first two books and though it is a guilty pleasure I don’t think these two should even contemplate doing this to their careers. If they want their relationship to stay out of the spotlight after Twighligt dies down, then no, they should not do this. Besides, they already did the Bella & Edward thing, it’ll be almost the same thing just with more adult & sex. And in order to stay true to these books, I can’t see it happening without the NC17 rating. I think Kristen wants to be taken more seriously & doing this would just set her back. I would love to see them do something together again, they should give it some time & pick the right project, this is just to soon and it is a little cheesy.

i totally agree, though i really love to see Rob and Kristen in a new movie together.
the book is too steamy and it would only be convincing only if the scenes were translated very well in the movie, which means lots and lots of “love” scenes.

Deb I so agree. Both of them I think want to be serious actors and want to get away from being type cast as Bella and Edward. So it will be years or never that they are in a movie together as lovers.

I totally agree with the comments of Deb, via and Felicia. I would like to see more movies of tnem together but this is defiinitely not tje right roles for them. They both deserve and are highly capable TV something better and classier. They are both ready to take it to a much higher level. I can’t wait for this to happen. More power to them! ROBSTEN ROCKS!
