The March 26 episode of Bethenny Ever After starts off on a spicy note! Bethenny Frankel and husband Jason Hoppy start to brainstorm ideas for Bethenny’s birthday and they decide that Cabo might be a great option. Jason wants to negotiate how much sex they should have on the vacation and Bethenny just isn’t having it! “I grind my teeth instead of my husband,” says Bethenny. The tone of the episode goes from goofy to glum when Bethenny finds out that her estranged mother is speaking to the tabloids!
Bethenny’s mother, Bernadette, tells Star magazine intimate details about her daughter even though the two haven’t spoken to one another for over a decade! Her mom speaks poorly of Bethenny’s marriage, suggesting that Bethenny will dump Jason any day now. Then she attacks her skills as a mother, claiming that Bethenny never spends enough time with Bryn. Finally, she has the nerve to claim to have come up with the Skinnygirl margarita drink before Bethenny!
Things get even more complicated when Bethenny’s design team want to turn Jason’s special entertainment room into a closet for Bethenny. She’s such a good wife to want to sacrifice the ultimate closet so that Jason can have his man cave, but her design team just keeps pushing the issue!
The debate comes to a head when Bethenny’s apartment remodel team decides to vote on the issue with the vast majority choosing a bigger closet over a man cave. Poor Jason — he can’t cut a break! Luckily Jason graciously suggests a compromise: Bethenny gets her closet and Jason loses his man cave. Though it seems a bit uneven, Jason seems happy that Bethenny is happy. How sweet!

although we only see an edited part of this show and that is just the worst parts to cause drama. Bethenny worked her butt off to gain what she has. NO ONE is looking at the fact that this gal has survior of adult abandonment and if it was to be, it was up to her. And still people don’t cut her slack. Never mind that NOW she made it and she has to learn about how nobody is happy. I see the Doctor as not getting it either, but she will make that call and if she feels good with him GREAT! Jason, thank God you had a great up-bringing. Bethenny did not and she is just dealing. It will be a struggle, but it is a process to see if you will stay NO MATTER WHAT! She never had that and she needs in every one she deals with, to know they are staying and will really push until she knows for sure. The ones who stay will be great and she will settle down once she knows and grows.
