Two teen moms from the new season of the hit MTV show appeared on Good Morning America and revealed their struggles with motherhood.
The new season of MTV’s 16 & Pregnant premieres tonight, March 27, at 10 p.m. EST with two back-to-back episodes! Two of the new moms from the series — Briana DeJesus and Katie Yeager — went on Good Morning America to share their stories.
“You dont know what love is until you have a baby,” Katie says. The 17-year-old is still with her baby daddy, Joey. “We’re great. He loves his daughter. I’m happy that he stepped up. I’m very lucky that he stepped up.”
But unlike Katie, Briana is not with her child’s father anymore.
“He comes and goes as he pleases, and it’s tough,” she says as she starts to tear up. The teen also reveals a surprising twist: Her sister was pregnant and decided to get an abortion, rather than keep the baby like Briana did.
“We’re greiving a life, but we’re also trying to celebrate one,” she explains.
And although Katie says she’s lucky her child’s dad is in her life, she admits it’s still hard. “You’re so happy, but at the same time you’re grieving the loss of your childhood,” she explains. She also warned teens to be careful when it comes to their sex life. ”Be safe. Being an adult isn’t as glamourous as it looks.”

So sad her sister decided to terminate the pregnancy,adoption is always a choice.she will pretty much be effected by it mentally until she seeks therapy.:(
