Justin’s sound isn’t the only thing maturing! In a new radio interview, the teen heartthrob proves he’s becoming a man — and he admits he’s learned more about love!
Leading up to the Mar. 26 release of his new single “Boyfriend,” Justin Bieber dropped by Elvis Duran‘s NYC Z100 radio show on Mar. 24 to discuss growing up, changing his sound and falling in love!
“There’s depth to this that you don’t have in your other music,” Elvis said about “Boyfriend,” the debut single from Justin’s much-anticipated album Believe. “It just sounds like a whole new approach.”
“I was younger and my voice was higher,” Justin admitted about his older music. “My music was geared to a younger audience. Now I’m broadening my audience. We wanted to show people that I can evolve.”
“What is love when you’re 13?” joked Elvis.
“When you’re 13, that’s when you’re first trying to figure out what it means — that’s kind of a puppy love,” Justin explained. “Now, being 18 and trying to figure out what it actually really means is a totally different story.”
No doubt his girlfriend of over a year, Selena Gomez, has helped open his eyes to true love!
