Is the 46-year-old model overly jealous of her pre-teen daughter? Cindy tells the young girl she stole her mom’s good looks!

When model Cindy Crawford‘s daughter Kaia Gerber, 10, appeared in Versace ads in January, the mom was proud, but is she also jealous of the girl’s budding career? “I always tease her that she stole everything from me,” Cindy tells Parade magazine. “I’m like, ‘You have my old legs and I want them back!’”

But Cindy still says she loved the shoot. “I was proud of her,” she gushes. “I was there when she shot it, so I know what the experience was like for her. She liked it, but she also saw that it’s hard work. When we left the shoot, it wasn’t like, ‘Oh, I can’t wait to do that again,’ it was like, ‘That was kinda hard!’”

Cindy is also mom to 12-year-old son Presley, and she says it’s hard work balancing motherhood and a career.

“I make it work the same way every other woman does,” she says. “Some days it works out better than others. I think I’ve had to learn to say ‘no’ more and really understand my own limits. I’m also very punctual and realistic about time and that helps me structure my life in a way where I know I’m going to have time with my kids, time to work out, and time to do the work I need to do. But still some days, everything goes haywire!”
