The troubled singer was caught by police and is currently in jail — did Whitney Houston’s death drive him to substance abuse?

Bobby Brown has been arrested because of suspicion of driving under the influence.

Bobby, 43, was nabbed at 12:20 PM PST for driving with a cell phone when cops suspected substance abuse, TMZ reports.

Bobby is reportedly at Van Nuys jail. He has a DUI previously on his record.

Yes – I do think it may have had something to do with Whitney’s death!!! First of all, we are just side liners meaning looking from the sideline – therefore we have no real clue of the mighty love one had for another no matter if they were divorced or not!

I would say Bobby Brown LET GO AND LET GOD!!! LET GOD DO WHAT GOD DOES!

For one thing death is never easy. My family lost over 3 people last year and it’s still not easy but faith in God allowed us to continue to make life changes in a positive way and not reverse to a negative.

You will be fine Bobby Brown keep your faith and always let GOD know you cannot do it alone and guidance is needed. Your strength will strengthen and you will be there for your daughter who I am sure do need her father!!!

A great case for human euthanization. This whole family should never have been. Only blessing on having Bobbi K is that she’s short enough so I can rest my beer on her head while she’s giving me oral b.

Geez, what more can be said. All of them are addicts, addicts, addicts. It doesn’t really look like Bobbi B or Bobbi Kristina will ever stay clean and sober for any extended period of time and both of them will probably end up like Whitney. So sad really.

oh, bobby… these guys are just a straight up mess. i hope for the best for all of them. bobby is an addict, and most addicts like excuses to fall off the wagon… it could be whitney’s death, or it could be anything. it doesn’t really matter. i just hope he gets back on track. i don’t know if this is anything to bobbi k b/c she’s seen it all already, but it’d be nice if she didn’t have all of this drama around her. it’s as if she can’t even just worry about herself and her own grief and growing up. she’s got all this other nonsense floating around. sigh…

Continue to pray for all of them. This is still her father. She should be mature enough to know enough is enough look at her parents behavior. If she wants this lifestyles, then she should realize what and how her future will be. As for Bobby, be the example. Take authority. All eyes are on you, so don’t give people reason to talk negative about you. Pray! Pray! Pray! And watch God change things.

Wow..Unfortunate, just proves how bad and rampant this addictive lifestyle was and is present in all of that family..Bobby Kristina has definately got to be on guard with both parents being addicts…. Sad, but everything happens for reasons, sometimes unknown
