Trayvon’s girlfriend, who was on the phone with him in the minutes before his death, will appear in front of a grand jury on April 10.
A Florida grand jury will determine whether George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch captain who shot Trayvon Martin on February 26 in Sanford, Florida, should be charged with murder, and they’re calling his girlfriend to the stand.
The girlfriend, whose name has not been released because she is a minor, has already hired a lawyer who said she looks forward to telling the jury what really happened the night her boyfriend was killed, RadarOnline.com reports.
Local law enforcement in Sanford, Florida didn’t question the girlfriend after Martin’s death, even though her parents called them to say she wanted to come in for an interview.
Our thoughts are with the Martin family during this difficult time.

I’m just trying to figure something out… she said in her statement to police “He said this man was watching him, so he put his hoodie on.” But the 711 video shows Martin come into the store with his hoodie up, kept it up the whole time in the store and walked out with it up…. so he walked out into the rain and took it down, then told her he was going to put it up because he was being watched…. does this make sense?
