Mike has reportedly checked into Cirque Lodge in Utah, admitting to his fans that he has a prescription drug problem and is voluntarily getting treatment.
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, 29, can’t handle his partying ways anymore. The reality star took to Twitter on March 21 to tell his over one million followers that he has an addiction and he’s getting help for it.
“I want to set the record straight,” the Jersey Shore star says on his website. “I have voluntarily taken steps to get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion. I have spent the past several weeks getting treatment for this problem and recuperating from my work and appearance schedule. I appreciate my fans support and love you guys.”
TMZ is reporting that Mike has checked into Cirque Lodge in Utah. Meanwhile, MTV announced that there will be a sixth season of Jersey Shore.
Do you think the partying is just too much for the cast?

Sounds like a “situtation” where your 15 minutes of fame are up, and you need a “rehab stint” to get back into the fame game. Seems like people who no longer are relevant in Hollywood are told you have a “problem”; check yourself in, and then we’ll tell everyone, so you get more publicity. Yawn!
