The highly-anticipated ‘Carrie Diaries’ started filming in NYC. Check out the details below!

OMG! Today is the first official day of shooting for The Carrie Diaries, the Sex and the City prequel that’s slated to air this Fall on the CW, which starrs AnnaSophia Robb. Based on the hit book series by Candace Bushnell, The Carrie Diaries chronicles Carrie Bradshaw during her senior year of high school in the 1980s when she asks her first questions about love, sex, friendship and family while navigating the worlds of high school and Manhattan.

“They’re starting with shooting at Carrie’s house,” a source exclusively tells HollywoodLife.com “The scenes are going to be based on getting to know Carrie and the family-type situation of where and how she grew up.”
