Before Katniss leaves for the Capitol to train for the Hunger Games, she is forced to say goodbye to her hunting pal Gale!

The wait is almost over! Only three more days until the games begin.

In this new clip from the movie — which hits theaters March 23 — Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) says what might be her last goodbye to Gale (Liam Hemsworth). Even though there are 24 tributes and only one makes it out alive, Gale is confident with a bow and arrow Katniss can win. He’s so sweet!

It’s obvious Gale has a crush on Katniss, but the Hunger Games bring a new boy, Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), into the picture.
