Jessica’s family and celeb friends gathered to celebrate her baby-to-be at a girly pink-themed party on March 18!
Due to have her baby girl in April, Jessica Simpson, 31, was joined by more than 50 close friends and family, including stars like her sister Ashlee Simpson, her fiance Eric Johnson, Ellen Pompeo and Jessica Alba, on Sunday, March 18 in Los Angeles. “It was a kid-friendly shower with many of her friends bringing babies,” a source told Us Weekly. “Jessica [Alba] brought her baby Haven, 7 months, and Ashlee brought Bronx, 3.”
In honor of baby-to-be Maxwell Johnson, the party theme colors were pink and yellow, with tube-shaped balloons and spring tulips decorating the soiree.
“She received tons of gifts mostly wrapped in pink gift wrap and boxes,” the source added. “There were several books, stuffed toys and clothes among other items.”
The eyewitness also told Us Weekly that Jessica arrived before any of the guests to make sure the party was in top-notch shape.
“She seemed completely ecstatic,” the insider says.
