Adele is on a health kick post-surgery, and she’s planning on shedding even more pounds, says a source.
British pop star Adele, 23, lost a few l-bs (or should we say stones?) from her throat surgery last November, and her newly svelte figure was evident at her stunning appearance at the Grammys, reports the Daily Mail.
However, it seems that the singer is planning to continue her slim down — for health reasons and not just for the sake of losing weight.
Now that Adele has quit smoking, she’s been reportedly working out with a personal trainer twice a week and doing Pilates.
“Adele has found so much more energy now she’s quit smoking. She really wants to get healthier, now that she’s half-way there,” a source tells The Sun. “She had always been curious about taking up Pilates, but until recently, there just hadn’t been any time.”
In February Adele defended her voluptuous figure after designer Karl Lagerfeld called her “fat.”
“I’ve never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women and I’m very proud of that,” she told People.
Are you happy at the idea of seeing a skinnier Adele?
