The super-hot boy band will continue to invade America on their new show — are YOU excited?

One Direction is the hottest band in the world right now, and it’s just been announced that they’re getting their own TV show!

The Nickelodeon network announced the show on Twitter, writing, “The rumors are true, our live-action slate does include a development project for @onedirection. Welcome to the family!”

Will you be watching One Direction’s new show, HollywoodLifers?

I don’t see why all One Direction fans HATE Big Time Rush… It dosen’t make sense. I’m a rusher, but I also like 1D. :)

But I guess you directioners are going to have to get used to not hating Big Time Rush, because soon enough… 1D, and BTR are gonna be just alike…

Why? That’s all I can say. First of all, I hate them. They’re not even hot or anything. Second, if I did, I still wouldn’t watch the show. It WILL ruin them. All those teeny boppers and little girls will start to like them.
“Hey, what’s your favorite band?”
“Oh, one direction”
“Those guys from the Nickelodeon show? Isn’t that for kids?”

NOOOOOO!!!! I HATE big time rush and i think they’re show is the stupidest thing in the world.Nick is just going to make them look like that.I mean i love you one direction and I WILL support everything and anything you do but please don’t do this……I LOVE YOU THO!!!!

I LOVE ONE DIRECTION;I SUPPORT THEM AND LOVE THEM.I think it’s a bad move to have their own t.v show and mostly on a kids channel because then they will have less time with their fans and their musical career;which is what they love to do.I also think it’s a bad idea because if they appear doing anything that is “bad” outside of the show parents will be angry and there could possibly be a scandal.All in all i will still watch the show and my feelings about them will never change and i wish them the best of luck :)

NO. I love the boys soooo much but many celebrities r gettin ruined by their own tv shows! And its also because they will be spending more time in the US than the uk/ireland and it seems lyk they r forgetting their british/irish fans!! They shud think bout their fans first! And the british/irish fans bought them to this point and now they are just taking advantage of it!!!

Simon Cowell told the boys to be the band they want to be. Their management and dickelodeon have completely ruined that. The boys are themselves and we can tell what type of guys they are and they are not nickelodeon boys. I’ll support the boys in whatever they do but I don’t agree at all with the whole nickelodeon thing… rant over

NO. nick already ruined big time rush by making them a scripted, fake band. but one direction is real & they are themselves. i will support them no matter what but i still do not think nick is right for them if hey want BIG success in the future !

I love one direction I mean who doesnt but if your truly a directioner than you’ll support them no matter what they choose to do. Even though I don’t think nickelodeon is the best way to go….

NO. NO SHOW. We LIKE THEM JUST THE WAY THEY ARE! We have plenty or youtube videos and twitcams. We like when they boys are just themselves. This show will ruin them. They are all 18-20, they dont need to be on a kids channel. LEAVE THEM ALONE NICK.

No, No this is NOT OK!! I Love One Direction dont get me wrong. DIRECTIONER RIGHT HERE! but Big Time Rush already has a Nick show and it makes 1D look like they are just copying the other band. Also, They will most likely lose fans due to disrespect, because lets face it… Nick is for children. not teens (which is the age range holding the majority of their fans.)
Im so insulted… 1D please dont.. just dont..

OMG, no! I don’t want them to do that! I liked them better when they were in the uk.Don’t get me wrong i think it’s cool they’re over here and all, but i think it’s weird having them over here, with all the new fans and everything. And if they do a show on nickelodeon i will seriously die..oh god please don’t do it!!

It’s a serious insult for the fans to put them on a channel for eight-year-old girls. It would ruin the amazing, sick and funny fancrowd..

I dont think that the TV show is a good idea at all because I like the boys as they are; funny, mental and random. They can’t be that if they’re scripted can they? Not naturally anyway. I don’t like how Nickelodeon are trying to change the boys because will lose a lot of us older fans. They will become another BTR. And I have to say, their TV show is not very good at all… NICKELODEON WILL RUIN THEM!!! for everyone. The 1Dfamily will become lots of little annoying 8 year olds who now think that they are the coolest people alive…

This is terrible! I LOVE the boys. I don’t want the boy band who are gonna attract 10 year old girls and do stupid comedy on nick . I want the boys the boys from the stairs and kevin. I want the normal inappropriate boys that love being teenage guys. One Direction is not meant for little kids. But if they want to do it I will support them no matter what. That is what a true directioner does.
I swear, when I’m camping out to get my tickets for their shows and I need to fight off 8 year old and their mommas there is gonna be a lot of ugly things going on.

I COMPLETELY agree. I love when they make dirty jokes in interviews, and make those video diaries where they all scream at each other. If they sign to Nickelodeon, they can’t do that anymore, because their fanbase will be a lot younger. I just hope they don’t change their music, because that would just break me. <3
