Wanting to pick a baby name with meaning, Jessica makes a quirky (but cute) choice! You’ll never guess what she’s naming her daughter!
Choosing a baby name is difficult for any parents-to-be, but it’s especially challenging for celebs in the spotlight like Jessica Simpson and fiance Eric Johnson! “They tossed around a lot of names, including some wacky ones like Zinfandel, but couldn’t agree on anything,” a family friend tells In Touch. But now they’ve finally chosen — read on to find out what they picked!
Jessica and Eric have finally decided what they’re naming their baby-to-be: Maxwell Johnson!
“They’re going to call her Maxwell, Maxi for short,” the friend reveals. But why Maxwell?
Maxwell is Eric’s middle name, and also his grandmother’s maiden name. “Jessica wanted a name with meaning,” the friend says.
Jessica, 31, has been spotted out wearing a diamond “M” necklace in honor of the newcomer. The couple has even ordered monogrammed onesies for the baby, who is due on April 20. “[Jessica's] gained so much weight and the baby is so big that doctors pushed up the date,” the friend explains.
“Jessica and Eric are so eager to meet Maxwell!” the friends says.
