Hunger Games Screenings

For the die-hard or insomniac ‘Hunger Games’ fans, IMAX theaters will host 3 a.m. screenings of the epic adventure. The world will be watching… in the wee small hours of the morning.

IMAX will screen The Hunger Games at 270 theaters around North America when it premieres on March 23, Deadline reports. Many of those theaters have already sold out their midnight showings to loyal fans determined to see Katniss and Co. hit the big screen before anyone else. “With two weeks to go, we have seen substantial midnight sellouts in IMAX theatres across the country, leading exhibitors to begin offering 3 AM shows to meet demand,” Greg Foster, Chairman and President of IMAX Filmed Entertainment, said in a release.

Great to see fans so excited to cheer on Katniss and her fellow tributes when they literally battle for their lives in the annual Hunger Games.

Viewing this film on the super-sized IMAX screens will certainly put audiences right in the middle of the action, fighting alongside Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss and Josh Hutcherson’s Peeta.

Hollywood Lifers, will YOU stay out late (and possibly miss the next day of school or work) to catch The Hunger Games early premiere?
