Normally comedic and self-deprecating, ‘American Idol’ contestant Heejun Han had a beautiful moment during an interview with HollywoodLife.com March 13. We can’t wait to see him accomplish his goals even more!
Heejun Han took a break from the jokes (for about 30 seconds) when he was telling HollywoodLife.com how much American Idol has meant to his family back in Flushing, New York.
“My mom has always supported me throughout the whole competition. No, my whole life,” he told us exclusively March 13. “She thinks, you know, our dream came true. The American dream came true for our family.”
Heejun sure knows how to get straight to our hearts! He’s so sweet. The 22-year-old singer also told us he’s excited for his girlfriend to come to the show March 14 and that he’s playing it serious with his “year of birth”-themed song.
“I’m not dancing,” he joked, adding, “I might be crying.”
