Whitney, you’ve been celebrated for your voice and pitied for your addiction. The world needs to now praise you for raising a wonderful daughter!
Until Oprah’s warm and sensitive interview with Bobbi Kristina Brown in the OWN special “Oprah’s Next Chapter” on March 11, no one outside of her close circle of family and friends have ever heard your only child, daughter Bobbi Kristina speak.
Your sweet daughter Bobbi Kristina, 19, did you justice speaking about her love for you and about how she’s carrying on, in the wake of your tragic death.
She told Oprah that you were her “everything.” My mom “wasn’t just a mother, she was a best friend, a sister and a comforter… we had disagreements, but she was my everything.”
Whitney — her words must have made your heart sing in heaven.
Bobbi Kristina called you “an angel” and says that she still hears you speaking to her. “I can hear her voice in spirit talking to me, saying, ‘keep moving, baby. I gotcha.'” She doesn’t want to leave the Atlanta home you shared because she can feel you there and she loves being surrounded by your clothes, jewelry and all your other things.
You would have been so proud of Bobbi Kristina, Whitney. She was well-spoken, polite and honest, just speaking from the heart.
Everyone knows that she collapsed and had to be taken to the hospital twice after your death — she was having trouble — understandably — so much trouble, processing the fact that you had suddenly died.
Of course, she felt shattered. She told us that you and she were “like that” as she crossed her fingers. And you spent your last night on Earth sleeping with her. She was in her momma’s arms.
Whitney — no matter what teen troubles, Bobbi Kristina may have had in the past, she is now holding up like the strong young woman you wanted her to be. And she did you proud on Oprah!
Congrats Whitney — you were a great mom and Bobbi Kristina will carry you in her heart for the rest of her life!
