Best friends Jamar & Jamie go head-to-head on ‘The Voice’ tonight! Which guy are you rooting for?
The battle rounds on The Voice are always intense, but the March 12 episode packs a particularly emotional punch, as best friends Jamar Rogers and Jamie Lono prepare to face off. “It sucks,” Jamie admitted on the Today show. “We became friends during the blind auditions; I call this guy my little brother.”
“My heart just dropped when I found out we had to sing against each other,” Jamar adds of the pre-taped episode.
And it doesn’t sound like Jamie was too thrilled to have to face off against Jamar, either.
“Ours will be a hard one to watch, because it’s hard to want to send either one of us home,” Jamie joked. “We both have our own unique styles, and I think a lot of people will latch onto that.”

OMG!!! I just watched this episode, and VERY far from my understanding is my emotional, teary reaction to raw talent. Jamar’s performance had me going through 1/2 a box tissue! I had the same thing happen the 1st time I ever heard the Beatles, showing my age here, and up to this point was certain there wasn’t anyone who would beat the lovely and extremely talented Juliet Simms. Wow! I’m SO glad there will be so many voting when it comes down to picking the “winner”? Ha! Their all winners in my book, but God bless Jamar! What a gift.
