'Bachelor' Reject Lindzi Is The Ultimate Doormat For Saying 'If Things Don't Work Out, Call Me'

After being turned down by Ben Flajnik on national television, runner-up Lindzi Cox offers herself up as his sloppy seconds.

Someone get this girl a therapist! Mere minutes after being rejected by Bachelor Ben Flajnik, second-place contestant Lindzi Cox was already plotting to get him back. As Ben walked Lindzi back to the heliport-o-shame, the two paused for a moment to say their final goodbye. Until this point, Lindzi had shown nothing but class. She didn’t cry and she didn’t beg — other than her self-deprecating admission: “I’m mad at myself for not giving you what you needed.” Lindzi handled having her heart crushed on national television very maturely.

And then came her moment of desperation! During Ben and Lindzi’s final embrace — which, let’s face it, should have been a final slap in the face — Lindzi said, “Good luck, and if things don’t work out, call me!”

And then Ben nodded. He actually agreed! He must have been shocked by her proposition, but that can’t have gone over well with the lucky lady that actually won his heart, Courtney Robertson.

What do you guys think about Lindzi’s plea of desperation? Do you think she really meant it or did the altitude go to her head?
