‘The Hunger Games’ star opens up about taking care of his girl when she is attacked by the media and fans — he’s the most supportive boyfriend ever!

Liam Hemsworth is madly in love with Miley Cyrus, and now he’s talking about how he takes care of her when she faces her countless critics!

Liam, 22, took to syndicated radio program The Bert Show and ended up speaking about Miley, 19, and how he helps her dodge irate fans.

“We have a pretty supportive relationship,” he said. “We’re always supportive of each other’s careers and we both know how we feel about each other. We have a great support system.”

He also spoke about how he got involved with Miley initially.

“We met on The Last Song and it’s still going,” he said. “I think going into it, it wasn’t the goal for that to happen but we just got closer and closer through the shoot and it just kind of happened.”

I think that they are agood couple and btw @natalie. She isnt jst a normal girl she is a Singer and Actress to so she mostlikely knows wat his schedual is like… but besides that their an awesome couple

best boyfriend ever? I don’t know if the best ever, but he seems pretty damn good…I’d as close to perfect as one can get. My boyfriend is the best ever but Liam is 2nd best :)

Seems to have forgotten that he was already involved with his high school sweetheart of 4 years WHILE “it just happened”. Forgot to tell her about his blossoming relationship until four months later. Sad and disappointing thing is Miley knew all about it, yet she still went out with him as the “other woman”. Australian snake charms Tennessee God fearing, smoking and drinking liar. Yes, she lied to her fans, so spare me the critique. Blyme!

oh please it is not a reason for medias and ‘haters’ (pathetic bitter people) to hate the girl, i am not a fan particularly but i don’t mind her, i don’t ‘hate’ her it is ridiculous.
Anyway good for him if he defends her, it makes him smart, i wish them well.

I agree with you, but do you think that he would still be with her with all this what’s happening now. I mean ,she is a normal girl, he’s an actor that travels alot ,the distance would separate them if they were still together after all , his life is busy so that’s why actors date actors or singers , because they understand each other’s schedule… and btw , if you remember this it makes me think that you’re actually that girl. Are you Liam’s ex? :D

If she is the ex or not, who’s to say that he and his high school sweetheart wouldn’t have traveled with him as his career began to blossom? She may have came to the states to be closer.Couples in love travels all the time. He didn’t at least give her that chance? Just as long as Miley know that if he can do this to a high school sweetheart, he can also do the same thing to her when a more popular girl comes along since her fame is seriously fading cute to horrid!

that was uncalled for. i know how it feels like to be dating for a guy for a long time then out of the blue another girl comes into the picture. its heart breaking. especially when the guy doesnt say anything. it doesnt matter who that girl is. you will despise them for a really long time. so really dont call anyone clingy, jealous, or pathetic just because your precious miley is dating him. think of the other persons feelings.

Just for the record, Liam met Miley in March as their first introduction. In June, she started filming with him, and the first day they did their kissing scenes. He just admitted he started to have feelings from that point on. Miley was being teased through August about having a boyfriend, when she responded on twitter, to defend herself and say not to pay attention to the rumors, that she didn’t, but all indications showed otherwise, that they were at least emotionally involved by July 4th when they were shown embracing and each other’s arms watching the fireworks. He did not break up with the Australian girl until September. So both Miley and Liam were knowing involved at the expense of his girlfriend. A hand written Dear Jane letter could have reached her in those 3 months, let alone technology, like Skype. If he was so great, he should have ended it before he messed with Miley. If Miley knew about it, (she had too, cause there were reports in Australia that she did, she should not have fooled around until Liam was free and clear, being a holy, Bible thumping prude that was slamming her morality down her fans throats while banging the sheep lover). Tybee, should have been renamed something seedy for what was happening that summer.
If I was Liam’s ex, I’d shown him how I use sheep clipping shears. For those of u b’s who are dissing moua, lube up your noses, and stick them up deep into Liam and Miley’s arses, I pretty sure their dung stinks, and I doubt they wipe, so it would be appropriate for ur sense of loyalty.
