A writer who spent two days with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart when they were shooting the first ‘Twilight’ film in 2008 tells the story of how Robsten hit it off almost immediately on set. You don’t want to miss these new details!

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart hardly knew each other when they were cast to play eternal lovers, Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, in the The Twilight Saga four years ago. In order to make their love believable, the dedicated actors spent every waking hour together…and quickly “work” turned into real-life dating.

“They were VERY into building chemistry, barely knew each other then,” writer Larry Carroll wrote on Twitter March 8, remembering his two-day visit to the Twilight set back in 2008. “To play such intimate characters for several movies, they knew they had a lot of work to do. Both of them take acting very seriously, even then when relatively young.”

He added, “They’d share books……watch movies together, hit local clubs with other actors, etc. As soon as Catherine called ‘Cut!’ they’d almost always head off together.”

Even though Rob and Kristen considered their time together necessary for the film, Larry said it was obvious even to him there was more there than work.

“Yeah, the chemistry was undeniable,” he wrote. “I remember each had a book on their chairs, next to each other. RPattz read Vonnegut…I was on set for 2 full days, and the only time they weren’t together was when I did my 1-on-1 with Rob.”

Much like now, when Rob is so proud of Kristen and supports her in whatever she does, he followed what she did back then too. “KStew definitely seemed to take the lead most of the time,” Larry wrote, explaining, “She was the more experienced actor.”

Isn’t it incredible how two people can hit it off so quickly and fall in love? We are obsessed with Rob and Kristen’s relationship, and hearing new details about how it blossomed gives us all new insight as to why Rob, 25, and Kristen, 21, work so well together.
