Madonna dabbles in everything from bondage to a provocative same-sex kiss in her new video for ‘Girl Gone Wild.’ But Madonna, you’re not a girl anymore, and two men kissing isn’t quite as shocking as it was in 1992.
Madonna released a tease of her new music video for “Girl Gone Wild” that “appears to be a rehash of her Sex era,” Daily Mail reports. At 51, Madonna tries to keep up the shock factor, but compared to the Lady Gagas and Nicki Minjas of the world, she doesn’t really make us arch an eyebrow.
The former “Material Girl” stunned audiences with her provocative videos during the ’80s and ’90s. MTV even banned her “Justify My Love” video for containing imagery of sadomasochism, voyeurism, and bisexuality, but now all of that seems like the daily norm on network prime-time crime dramas.
Madonna gave an epic performance at this year’s Super Bowl, but “Girl Gone Wild” looks relatively tame compared to any Lady Gaga video or Nicki Minaj’s controversial Grammy performance of “Roman Holiday.”

I find it funny that you think your little comments about Madonna make you relevant. People such as yourself who haven’t accomplished much in their life like to try to put down and poke holes in an ICON like Madonna’s performances, music, video’s and beauty. Here’s a fun fact, she will be relevant and out doing all her ” copy cat ” pop girl/ women performers long after your less than ordinary online rants are gone and forgotten. Lastly if your going to attempt to pose as a columist, get your facts correct. Biggest incorrect fact, ” she’s 53 not 51 “.
She is now and has always been and will always be an amazing artist, that no one can ever compete with in so many different area’s. Have you ever gone to one of her concerts. Let’s see if this gets published. :-)
