We love hearing Rob’s co-stars shower him with praise, and Uma is just the latest to join the party!
Don’t let Robert Pattinson‘s goofy, playful nature fool you! When the cameras start rolling, Uma Thurman insists, he becomes a completely different person. “He’s very serious,” Rob’s Bel Ami co-star tells the UK’s Stylist magazine. “He did a huge amount of rehearsals in his own time. I think that’s what you do when you’re a young actor, when you take your work very seriously and want to take it to the next level.”
But Uma didn’t just praise Rob; the Hollywood veteran also gave him some advice:
“Don’t get too upset about it,” she told him. “Before you know it, Twilight will just be an old film that made you lucky enough to get another job,” adding that “when you’re in that position and you’re young, it’s hard to hear through the noise.”

Good for Rob for trying to improve on his craft. This is why directors like David Cronenberg want him for their films—because he is an excellent actor, a draw for the box office, not difficult to work with (not a huge ego like so many in Hollywood) and he is always wanting to learn new things. No matter how good you are, you can always learn.
