Ben and Courtney are planning a private vacation to try and give it one last go, a friend reveals.

Bachelor Ben Flajnik and his rumored fiancee Courtney Robertson have reportedly come to the end of the road in their relationship. But after all the fighting and controversy over Courtney’s negative image on The Bachelor, could the couple possibly make it work?

“It hasn’t been an easy road for Courtney and Ben,” Ben’s friend tells Life & Style magazine. “Even if she starts wearing his engagement ring, this wedding is not a slam dunk.”

Ben freaked out when he saw Courtney’s nasty personality on the show. “Ben cracked,” says the friend. “He was hearing from everyone that he got played.”

“Things did get shaky between them,” the friend continues. “Ben panicked. He put Courtney on the back burner, didn’t call for a week (including on Valentine’s Day). He drowned himself in his partying.”

But now Ben and Courtney are going to try and figure out if they can make their relationship work outside of Bachelor drama.

“They’re going someplace very remote, where no one cares about The Bachelor,” explains the friend. “That way they can see where the relationship really stands without cameras rolling.”
