Dakota Fanning Channels Little Red Riding Hood: So Stylish Or Too Childish?

The blonde actress stepped onto a red carpet in a metallic blue dress, topped with a bright red wrap – Do YOU love or loathe the combo? VOTE!

Dakota Fanning, 18, attended Cosmopolitan magazine’s 15th anniversary Fun Fearless Awards on March 5 in NYC at the Madarin Oriental Hotel, where the February cover girl donned an icy blue fitted, a-line Miu Miu dress, complete with an exposed bare midriff!

She added a pop of color to the ensemble with a red wrap tied in a bow, and finished the look with pointed nude heels and a black headband — and it was the wrap that left us a bit bewildered!

I think the wrap is a little too much for the outfit. Not only does she look like she’s channeling Little Red Riding Hood, but there’s no way the tiny cover kept her warm in the chilly NYC cold. Next time leave the wrap at home Dakota and let the dress shine!
