Vanessa’s hubby Nick announced that they are expecting their first child!
Excited dad-to-be Nick Lachey announced March 5 on Live! With Kelly that his wife Vanessa Minnillo is pregnant with the couple’s first baby! “She’s just 12 weeks,” a source revealed to Us Weekly. “They’re both thrilled, so excited. Can’t wait to meet the new little one.”
Vanessa, 30, debuted her baby bump while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas on Feb. 25.
“I’ve had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and in my life, but this is the one thing that more than any other I’ve looked forward to,” Nick told Kelly Ripa on the show.
Nick, 37, revealed back in August that he was “doing everything I can” to get Vanessa pregnant — looks like it worked! “Trust me, it would make me very happy,” he said. “Family is very important. It’s very important to us, and I’m sure that will be around the corner.”
The couple married last July, and Nick’s ex-wife Jessica Simpson is also due soon with her own child with fiance Eric Johnson.
